 Muscle is a DDT affiliated brand promoted by Muscle Sakai. It's mostly known for it's comedy and because it's a parody of Hustle. It's main title is the IMGP Heavyweight Title, which is a parody of the New Japan Pro-Wrestling main singles title, the IWGP Heavyweight Title. IMGP stands for International Muscle Grand Prix.
Muscle doesn't count with an exact roster of affiliated wrestlers, but it does have it's crew of regulars who appear at most of the shows. Aside from the Muscle regulars, various famous pro-wrestlers also make random appearances in Muscle, specially at their big Muscle House shows. Muscle runs various shows throughout the year, with the Muscle shows being run at Kitazawa Town Hall and similar venues that hold a capacity of around 400 fans. The bigger Muscle shows are the Muscle House shows, which are run at Tokyo Korakuen Hall. Comedy, entertainment, fun, indy sleaziness, famous pro-wrestlers and famous comedy actors pretty much sum up what Muscle's made of. Muscle |
