 New Beijing Pro-Wrestling is a DDT affiliated brand promoted by Choun-Shiryu. It is built as a Chinese promotion that was founded 2000 years ago and has had over 1 billion affiliated wrestlers. Due to it being a Chinese promotion, the wrestlers wear typical Chinese clothes at the shows. There is a gong at the shows too.
The New Beijing roster consists of various DDT affiliated & Indy wrestlers playing other characters. The main heels are representatives from the opposing promotion which is known as Daichuu Hana Pro-Wrestling (Big Japan Pro-Wrestling). There are other groups that have sent representatives to participate in New Beijing. Those groups are; Hong Kong Dark Organization Roku Roku Roku (Triple Six), Manchuria Bazoku "Koketsu Dan" & Shanghai Ougon Sato Pro-Wrestling (El Dorado). It's first appearance in Japan took place on January 17, 2006 when various New Beijing affiliated wrestlers appeared at the Muscle 9 show. Then a year later, on March 11, 2007, Choun-Shiryu & MEGANE (Norikazu Fujioka) teamed up as representatives of New Beijing in a DDT 4 Brand 4 WAY Match. The New Beijing representatives were victorious, when MEGANE pinned DDT representative, Yusuke Inokuma in 14:02 with an Inside Cradle. After the match there was a segment that indicated that the first New Beijing Japan tour would be taking place later in the year. The first New Beijing Japan tour show took place on June 6, 2006 at Shin-Kiba 1st RING and was considered a success, due to the number of fans the show drew and to receiving positive feedback from the fans who attended it live. Since then, New Beijing has continued to being somewhat of a forgotten group, that only gets mentioned whenever their shows are near.
